<p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p><p>1. Translate UI/UX designs to HTML/CSS templates.</p><p>2. Build reusable code and libraries for future use</p><p>3. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs</p><p>4. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability</p><p>5. Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end</p><p>6. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Desirable Skills / Experience:</p><p>1. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.</p><p>2. Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS</p><p>3. Proficient understanding JavaScript and frameworks/libraries, including jQuery, Bootstrap.</p><p>4. Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.</p><p>5. Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. (Note: A UI/UX designer is expected to deliver finished</p><p>resources for the developer to incorporate into the app. However, quite often a front-end web</p><p>developer needs to make some small adjustments.)</p><p>6. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.</p><p>7. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.</p><p>8. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.</p><p>9. Knowledge on Angular/ReactJs, and NodeJs+Express will be added advantage.</p>
