Job Description:

Customer is looking for individuals with Cloud Expertise in managing global cloud accounts, providing infrastrusture design, maintenance, support, monitoring and planning. The cloud engineer will evolve our cloud capabilities over time and ensure that the platform is resilient, economically scalable and operationally sustainable.

 

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

 

•       Build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure solutions

•       Build, Manage and Support environments in Azure and AWS cloud including monitoring and logging off cloud events

•       Define and document best practices and strategies  regarding cloud security and infrastructure management

•       Provide guidance and thought leadership towards the use of cloud competencies

•       Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines

•       Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures

•       Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

•       Work in tandem with our DevOps team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions

•       Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms using IaC tools

•       Develop and implement migration strategies for stateless applications to serverless services

Education and Experience

 

Education:

 

 

•       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent

•       AWS Certification

 

Experience:

 

•       3+ years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer or equivelant preferably in AWS

•       Experience in migrating statefull application to lambda/fargate

•       3 +. Years’ experience in Cloud Security and Networking

 

Knowledge:
